April 2020
Over the month of April our data analysis team have been working hard to show our current clients the advantage they already have by being able to follow-up their site, machine or structure from a far. Everyone is feeling the pressure at the moment, but if we can relieve some of that pressure by showing the basic operational/health status of our clients machine, we are happy campers.
A small example above of a dashboard page for the month of April for one of our clients - nothing technical but clear and understandable for all personas of a company.
Updates from the team
1. "Without walks or runs I'd go crazy, especially now, so that is very important for me" - Kristijan, one of our data analysts.
2. Our lovely Management team treated us to a care package each filled with healthy snacks to keep us going whilst working at home.
3. Tobie - our Data analysis Team lead - checks in with the team online whilst reviewing SCADA data coming from one of our clients machines.
4. As a team we have daily stand ups which gives everyone the opportunity to talk about their focuses for the day and if they are facing any challenges. We have found this method works really well so far, especially since you can't turn your head to your colleague sitting next to you anymore.
Every week we have a 'random-standup' - a neat little random generator tool was quickly created by Kristijan. Each person picks a number and a random question is generated. The question generated is quite a good one - 'Tell us something about your home country?'
Our team is very diverse; we, of course, have the local Belgians, but also colleagues from Macedonia, Latvia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.
Stay tuned for our May update...
